Auspicious Days for Renovation & groundbreaking: October 2026
According to the Imperial Almanac (Xieji Bianfang Shu), these days are favourable for Build and break ground and are not overruled by any unfavourable spirit of the day: what is popularly called an auspicious day for Renovation & groundbreaking. Each day's Yellow or Black Path spirit is shown too; the book says the Yellow Path spirits follow whatever the day's other good or bad spirits favour or forbid, so the day's listed activities decide. Only the day itself is considered, not anyone's personal BaZi.

Notes and sources
Lunar dates and solar terms are computed for Beijing time. The stem-branch year starts at Start of Spring and each month at its solar term, as in the BaZi chart; the lunar year and zodiac animal start at Chinese New Year.
The twelve day officers follow the Imperial Almanac (Xieji Bianfang Shu), chapter on the Twelve Day Officers: 正月建寅則寅日起建順行十二辰
除危定執成開為吉建破平收滿閉為凶
The Yellow and Black Path spirits follow chapter 7 of the Imperial Almanac: counted from the month's Heavenly Ridge, Azure Dragon, Bright Hall, Golden Casket, Precious Light, Jade Hall and Arbiter of Fate are the Yellow Path; Heavenly Punishment, Vermilion Bird, White Tiger, Heavenly Prison, Black Tortoise and Gou Chen are the Black Path. Chapter 10 adds that the Yellow Path spirits follow the day's other good or bad spirits, so a Yellow Path day is not good for everything; the day's listed activities decide: 黄黒二道者黄道六黑道六共十有二以配十有二辰
青龍明堂金匱寶光玉堂司命與吉神併則從所宜與凶神併則從所忌
Favourable and unfavourable activities follow the Imperial Almanac (Xieji Bianfang Shu): chapters 3–9 give each day's spirits, chapter 10 what each spirit favours or forbids and how good and bad spirits are weighed, and the activities are listed as the sixty of chapter 11. Spirits that vary by year and are absent from the book's monthly tables (such as the Long and Short Stars, monthly taboo days and Earth in Command) are also applied to the actual date.
The results have been checked page by page against 75 pages of the book's monthly tables (chapters 20–31). Where the tables disagree with the text, or with themselves, the text and the majority of pages are followed.
English names of the spirits and activities are this site's translations; the Chinese names are those of the book.
